This site will look much better in a browser that supports web standards, but it is accessible to any browser or Internet device.

Our site uses secure servers for processing your order information. Please be aware that ONLY the page which you enter your credit card and personal information needs to be secure, the catalog itself is on our regular server. If we put the entire catalog on a secure server, it would take forever to load, as any pages referenced to secure servers will run slower than those which are not. You will know you are on a secure page by looking for two things - a small lock in the locked position in the lower corner of your browser, and the URL in the address bar of your browser will start with https:// rather than http://. If these two things are in place, you can rest assured your information is secure.
All orders are sent to us with secure encryption in place (PGP - the best encryption available), and are only decipherable by our computer, so you can rest assured your privacy is secure with us! As of February 2006 we have implemented a new secure shopping cart system with a number of complex systems of security in place, in order to further protect our customers and ourselves through the online shopping experience.
All customers who order online where payment is submitted via credit card should know that the credit card details are not retained on file by us, nor are they stored on servers anywhere on the internet. The order information itself is of course within our database, but the payment details are not. Details are kept on file at our physical location, within a secured, double entry locked Safe. 6 months after the order has been shipped, your credit details are destroyed via paper shredding machine. Why do we wait 6 months? Just in case there are returns, credits, etc. to be done, we would need the card details to process these.
Anybody who uses credit cards to pay for online orders anywhere on the Internet should be aware that the credit issuing companies such as Visa, Master Card and American Express all have very strict and strident rules in place for merchants such as ourselves to follow - one of those rules is that customer credit details cannot be stored on servers and store owners are NOT allowed to retain those details past a reasonable amount of time to process the order. It's nice to know these large companies are as interested in protecting the consumer's privacy as consumers are!
For those who prefer to pay using other methods such as money order, cheque or submitting credit details by mail or telephone, please feel free to do so, we don't mind in the least and we certainly understand! We often get phone calls asking about personal cheques - these days fewer and fewer businesses are willing to accept them, we are more than willing to accept them, because if the cheque doesn't clear at the bank, we don't send the order!
Please contact us if you have further questions about our privacy policy or security issues.
