HOW TO USE THE ONLINE  CATALOGS

PLEASE NOTE - NO items found in this site's catalog are shipped outside of Canada. Our other site, plantlilies.com does ship to the U.S., U.K. and a few other countries.

ALL PRICES STATED ARE IN CANADIAN FUNDS.

Ordering is simply done by clicking on the Add To Cart or Buy Now icon with each item description.  If you want more than one of the same item, enter the quantity in the box when checking the contents of your shopping cart. At any time, you may check out by clicking on the CHECKOUT link on the top, right side of the page. All orders are sent to us with secure encryption in place, and are only decipherable by our computer. If you prefer, you may print an order form and fax or mail it to us. Just look for the Print icon at the bottom of your checkout form.

Rose and perennial selections indicate zone hardiness, height and width at maturity, along with other specific details within their respective descriptions.

SHIPPING

We do not require a minimum order, but it is to your benefit to order in quantity as the shipping is the same regardless of quantity, for smaller orders. Perhaps you can get together with a friend or family member and order together to save on shipping costs?  Click here to see a table of approximate shipping rates.

We ship Canada Post Expedited, or for a little extra you can have your order shipped via XpressPost. A customer in the NWT alerted us to the fact that shipping was far quicker to his province when sent by Greyhound Bus, and for pretty much the same price as Expedited (thanks, Darm). I checked it out, and wow, what a difference timewise: 17 days was the standard delivery time by mail, he had his order 24 hours later by bus. So, if you live up north, or in another remote location in Canada, by all means state in the comments section of your order that you'd like us to check out bus shipping. We will check the delivery time and cost, compare it to mail, and get back to you with the results, then you can make your choice.

We ship perennials and roses starting in May, potted items are available from May through August 30th. If you order after these dates it will be shipped during the next season. If you live in a more temperate part of the continent and would like to have your order shipped earlier or later, indicate this on the checkout form we'll do our best to accommodate.  It wouldn't hurt for you to indicate a general preferred date for shipping in the comments area of the checkout form anyway.

PAYMENT METHODS

We accept American Express, Master Card and Visa as payment for online, fax, and phone orders. Mail-in orders can also use personal cheque or money order.  Please feel free to order using phone, fax or mail, whichever is your preference.  NEW in 2007, we are now accepting PAYPAL email payments!

We use a secure server and all orders are sent to us encrypted and only decipherable by us. Most people aren't aware that online ordering is actually safer than using your card at the local store! Beginning January 2004 all orders placed on this site are billed to your credit card within 48 hours. We do this to ensure your order is reserved in your name, and to help prevent fraudulent orders from reserving plants and messing up our inventories at shipping time.

RETURNS/REFUNDS/CANCELED ORDERS

Hard goods such as water pumps, etc. may be returned to us via Post as long as they are unused and in the original packaging.  Please contact us to let us know you are returning items if necessary.  We will credit your charge card the full amount, less shipping charges, as soon as we receive the returns.  Defective pumps may be returned to the manufacturer directly - full instructions are included with the warranty information of each pump.

Unfortunately for us, and for some customers, they must cancel their complete order after it has been filed. We certainly understand there are circumstances which can occur making this necessary, but we still spend time filing the order, preparing the paperwork, as well as adding/deleting the items from inventory. If orders are already charged to the credit card, we lose up to 5% of the total to the card company when we refund the customer, because the bank does not refund us the charges we incur for accepting cards in the first place. For these reasons, beginning February 2002 we charge 15% of the total order (including postage) on canceled orders. We sincerely regret that this is necessary.
